Warning: Depending on the filament material, 3D-printed parts may not withstand high temperatures, e.g. those encountered in an engine compartment. One example is this Cozy Mk IV airplane crash where a commercially 3D-printed air induction elbow collapsed. Source.

Here is a material list and their glass temperatures (caution: composed by AI):

  • 3D-printed RV-10 Phone Holder by Laura

    OnShape Project is here.
STL file zip archive: RV-10 Phone Holder.zip
Notes: Two versions are present in zip file: one for 78x15 mm phone cases, one for 79.3x15 mm. Print 4 of the pegs to connect the top part to the base.
  • Spinner simulator for cowl mounting
    • For Whirlwind propellers or other propellers with 1.6 inch distance between flywheel and rear end of spinner. Spacer is reduced to establish the 1/4 inch clearance. Cowling can butt up to disk. You will need 6 x 1/2"-20 bolts, 2.5" long, and 1/2" fender washers.

      propadapter3.stl (spacer)
Propwoodenplane1.pdf (disk) Note: Bolt holes can be drilled with precision using a 1/8 pilot hole, then a 1/2" Forstner drill bit, e.g. this one @HF.
      Propdisk1.dxf (for Acrylic disk cutting)
